Welcome to Pondok Bali Craft
Handcrafting Wooden Art in Bali Since 2001
Pondok Bali Craft is a Bali-based producer of handcrafted wooden sculptures, wall decor, and decorative home accessories.
Established in 2001, we have spent more than two decades working with skilled local artisans to create distinctive wooden art for retail and wholesale customers worldwide.
Our designs are inspired by birds, mushrooms, marine life, insects, and the natural beauty surrounding us. From small tabletop decorations to larger wall-hanging sculptures, every creation is made to bring warmth, texture, and organic character into the space where it is displayed.
Our Story
Pondok Bali Craft began with a passion for handcrafted wooden art and a commitment to sharing the craftsmanship of Balinese artisans with customers beyond Indonesia.
Bali has a long tradition of wood carving, with knowledge and techniques developed through years of practice. We combine this experience with nature-inspired designs suited to contemporary, rustic, coastal, woodland, and organic interiors.
Since 2001, our product range has grown to include wooden mushrooms, hummingbirds, owls, dolphins, sea turtles, bees, ladybugs, wall hangings, tabletop sculptures, and other decorative creations.
Although our collection continues to evolve, our foundation remains the same: every piece is made by hand with care and attention to detail.
Crafted by Hand
Every Pondok Bali Craft creation passes through several production stages.
The process begins by selecting and shaping the wood before the detailed carving starts. After carving, the surface is carefully sanded to reveal the natural grain and prepare it for finishing.
Depending on the design, the product may retain its natural wood appearance or receive a hand-painted finish. Separate elements are assembled before the item receives its final finish and quality inspection.
Because much of the work is completed by hand, small variations in carving, color, texture, and finish are expected. These differences reflect the authentic character of handcrafted production.
Inspired by Nature
Nature is at the heart of our work. Birds, mushrooms, marine animals, insects, branches, roots, and other organic forms provide inspiration for many of our designs.
Some creations offer a realistic interpretation of the subject, while others use simplified, abstract, or artistic forms. Natural wood grain, knots, textures, and irregular shapes are incorporated whenever possible, allowing the material to become part of the finished design.
Our collections include both natural wood and hand-painted finishes. Customers can choose between the understated warmth of natural wood and the expressive character of colorful painted decoration.
Naturally Unique
Wood is a natural material, so no two pieces are completely identical. Grain patterns, knots, tones, textures, and organic shapes may vary between products.
Some designs feature natural root, parasite wood, or driftwood-style bases. Because each base is individually selected, its exact shape may differ slightly from the photographs shown in our catalog.
These variations are not considered imperfections. They give each piece its own character and make every Pondok Bali Craft creation distinctive.
The product received will maintain the same overall design and approximate dimensions, while retaining the unique qualities of its natural materials.
Our Artisans
Behind every product is the work of skilled hands.
Our artisans contribute to different parts of the production process, including shaping, carving, sanding, painting, assembling, finishing, and quality inspection. Their experience, patience, and attention to detail bring each design to life.
By choosing Pondok Bali Craft, customers are supporting handmade production and the people whose craftsmanship makes our work possible.
We are proud to share their creations with homes, retailers, galleries, and businesses around the world.
